H Lane Vaqueros 4-H Equine Club
Founded in 1976, our 4-H Equine Club offers a wide variety of educational opportunities that go far beyond riding. We are committed to community outreach—hosting day camps to introduce youth to horse projects—and competing at county and state levels in public speaking, horse bowl, hippology, horse judging, and riding. Our club has produced multiple regional and state champions in presentations, horse judging, and hippology, as well as national champions in hippology and public speaking. We also ran a full breeding program where the kids participated every step of the way — from follicle ultrasounds and insemination to pregnancy ultrasounds, and ultimately witnessing the magical moment of birth firsthand.
